Hi there!  I'm Sherri.  Partner to Derrick. Stay at home mama to Noah, 5 years, and Lilah, 2 years (birthdays only 5 days apart!) and surprise #3 on the way!  We live in our nearly 5 year old home in Indiana which we're was gorgeous enough when we bought it, but we've never really gone room by room to make this house our "home".   Enter House and Home{stead}!

We originally started this blog because we were going to sell and move to some acreage, if possible, but with some life changes we've decided to stay put, take the house room by room, pay off tons of debt (including the house!) and enjoy every step along the way.
